That’s been brought sharply in to focus with the new that Lamborghini has delivered the 1,000th Aventador just 15 months after production started in Sant’ Agata – just half the time it took to sell the first 1,000 Murcielagos.
The New Lotus Esprit
We’ve been banging on that the new Lotus Esprit would turn up at the Paris Motor Show forever. It seemed the most logical step, but then Lotus went and shoved a spanner in the works a couple of weeks back by revealing the new Lotus Elite. So we thought that would be the powder spent for Paris.
Fisker has unveiled its new eco-friendly plug-in hybrid Surf vehicle at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. The Surf, which the company claims is the world's first electric luxury/sports automobile, follows up the Fisker Karma's electric vehicle with extended range, but has additional cargo capacity and load carrying capabilities. The Surf weighs in at only 66 pounds more than the Karma sedan, despite increased glass and bodywork.
